Senior Human Resources Consultant

We are currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our expanding Risk Management Division. This role is pivotal in delivering HR services to our clients, acting as a trusted advisor while implementing HR strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a broad spectrum of human resources matters, including hiring practices, termination processes, performance management, employee discipline, wage and hour regulations, unemployment compensation, and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Design and deliver training sessions for employees and management on various HR topics, such as harassment prevention, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, termination processes, and leave management.
- Conduct audits of internal HR policies and procedures to ensure adherence to applicable state and federal regulations.
- Review and create employee handbooks and other HR-related policies and procedures.
- Provide on-site HR support to clients as necessary.
- Generate informative content related to HR issues for publication on the company’s website.
- Oversee the complete recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
- Actively seek new client opportunities by promoting our services to existing clients and partner agencies.
- Stay informed about current state and federal employment laws that impact our operations and those of our clients.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in compensation design and analysis is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, PowerPoint, and internet applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Capability to engage and influence senior leadership.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including employee relations and employment law.
- At least 3 years of experience in recruiting across various disciplines.
- SPHR or PHR certification is preferred.
