The International Sales Support Specialist coordinates the daily activities of the International Team within the Sales Department of Primary Arms Optics Division. The International Sales Support Specialist will ensure the accurate handling of dealer sales orders within the Optics Division to reach divisional and organizational objectives and goals. He/she will not only work hands on across all stages of a dealer sales order, but also maintain active and positive communication with international wholesale customers daily. He/she will also be the link between the Sales Department and the Procurement Department to relay demand status and change. He/she will work closely with his\her team and upper management to not only ensure that the department runs smoothly and efficiently, but is also a welcoming, rewarding, and safe place to work.

This is a customer facing role. The position will be in house in Houston, TX. She/he will report to the International Sales Manager of Primary Arms Optics Division.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Services (a) large international key accounts, and (b) international accounts of all sizes
  • Tracks, monitors, and coordinates dealer sales orders
  • Archives all paperwork associated with sales orders.
  • Communicates to international customers on order status
  • Research and present leadership team with recommendations of new customers, territories, and potential new markets.
  • Coordinates payment collections and shipment schedules
  • Responds to customer requests related to sales orders and returns
  • Responds to information requests related to orders from internal departments throughout the organization
  • Assists the Inside Sales Team to design, develop, and maintain a streamlined order processes and work flow
  • Assists with special projects, if any
  • Records information and ensures quality of data in NetSuite and other internal systems that support sales and production
  • Assist in developing sales promotions and incentives for international customers
Required qualifications:
  • 2-year experience in the following fields: order operations, warehouse operations, sales, customer service, key accounts management, international trade, international logistics, international distributions, international direct dealer sales, domestic and international freight forwarding, etc.
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Positive, patient, and friendly personality over the phone and emails
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines
  • Comfort working with multiple teams and colleagues from various management levels
  • Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently and clearly
  • Must be a team player and work well under pressure
  • Must have excellent work ethic
  • Basic Microsoft skills, especially Word and Excel
  • High School Diploma
Preferred qualifications:
  • Familiar with international logistic and trade regulations
  • 2-year experience in wholesales within the firearms industry
  • 2-year associate degree in business or related fields
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus
  • Bilingual in French, German, or Spanish
  • Understanding and/or passion for optics and outdoor shooting sports
  • The desire to grow and improve processes, and can present ideas in a clear and concise manner
