Position Overview:
The Infrastructure Solutions Architect is responsible for provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and related infrastructure, ensuring adherence to the client's policies and standards. Key duties include infrastructure administration, monitoring system integrity and security, performing backups, troubleshooting, applying OS patches, upgrading system software, and optimizing performance to ensure continual innovation and operational efficiency.

Duties:
  • Install new / configure existing hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
  • Perform daily backup operations and regular file archival and purge as necessary.
  • Provide Tier 1-3 support per support request 
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
  • Upgrade and configure system software that supports GIS infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.  
  • Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
Required Skills:
  • 5 years of customer service and general Information Technology experience
  • 4 years of experience with Cisco Routing and Switching
  • 4 years of experience with hardware installation
  • 3 years of network design experience
  • 3 years of experience with Vsphere/Virtualization 
  • 1 year of experience with VPN & Remote Access Technologies
