We are looking for experienced service techs to join our field team who specialize in the following core commercial skillsets:

  • Flooring/Tile install & repair

Successful candidates are flexible, resourceful, have a growth mindset, and like to solve different problems every day. They have worked on flooring issues for businesses, restaurants, or multi-family properties previously. Training is provided through our two-week new hire orientation and various collaborations with “Trade Specialist” leaders who support our field team day to day. Daily work orders will range from basic repairs to replacement installs.

Pay and Benefits:


A commercial flooring technician's competitive wage varies depending on a candidate's region and professional experience. Qualified candidates are typically offered between $30 to $35/hr.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Interstate travel to Midwest metros to complete projects
  • Perform flooring repair and replacement
  • Communicate with support team via phone app to respond to work orders and IVR check-in
  • Utilize trouble-shooting skills to determine necessary repair(s)
  • Prepare job scope-of-work to include time estimates and material requirements for the account management team
  • Exhibit professionalism and good customer service in client and public settings
  • Due to the nature of this business most jobs are completed during regular overnights

Requirements

  • 3+ years commercial flooring experience in commercial, restaurant, medical, or municipal settings
  • Familiarity with flooring tools and equipment
  • Expertise with various flooring systems, including but not limited to: quarry tile, carpet tile, vinyl, etc
  • Good communication written and verbal
  • Capacity to use smart phones and/or tablets proficiently
  • Comfortable with driving to multiple locations throughout a shift
  • Flexible availability that can include overtime, evenings, weekends, on-call rotation
  • Ability to pass a background check, 4-panel drug screen (THC waived), and MVR check

Physical Requirements

  • Stand, walk, sit, kneel, and walk up/down stairs on a regular basis; climb up and down ladders up to 35 feet high repeatedly on a shift
  • Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders or man-lifts
  • Bend and stretch, lift and move heavy objects (50-60 lbs) many times across a shift
  • Operate, maintain, and work close proximity to various power equipment, including but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools and automatic machinery
