We're looking for a driven Sales Support Representative to join our Regional Sales Team. You'll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through proactive partner communication and stellar customer support. Your keen analytical mindset will support key initiatives aimed at exceeding our sales targets and regional goals.

In this highly visible role, you'll collaborate closely with various departments, including executive leadership, Marketing Communications, Product Portfolio Managers, Technical Support, and Customer Service. You'll assess business needs, explore advanced technologies, and spearhead new digital concepts to enhance our product families and services online.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive towards and surpass challenging sales targets, showcasing your ability to achieve outstanding results.
  • Engage dynamically with customers, ensuring prompt and effective responses that enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across diverse teams at Cree Lighting, where your input will be valued and impactful.
  • Keep our agents informed and inspired with exciting updates on promotions, sales milestones, and behind-the-scenes developments at Cree Lighting.
  • Champion effective communication regarding distributor stock, special discounts, and strategic deals that drive growth.
  • Take charge of pipeline updates, identify key opportunities, and spotlight innovative products each month to captivate our market.
  • Initiate cold calls to potential customers to explore opportunities for potential partnerships.
  • Demonstrate your knack for analytics by tracking regional achievements against goals, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Play a pivotal role in setting up new customers, resolving credit issues, and ensuring smooth logistics for product shipments.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to support unique customer needs, from product cross-references to tailored quotes.
  • Drive efficiency by keeping Salesforce.com updated and proactively managing customer expectations on lead times and product alternatives.

Requirements:

  • College or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of project management or sales support experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Active listening abilities with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to build trust and respect with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software, Salesforce.com preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Industry Knowledge, background or interest in lighting or related industries is advantageous.
