Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for Audit and Risk activities, collaborating closely with Audit teams and Technology stakeholders.
- Participate in process walkthroughs with Audit teams to ensure thorough understanding and compliance.
- Provide guidance and support to Technology teams as needed, helping them navigate audit and risk requirements.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of audit evidence prior to submission, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Preferred Skills for Audit:
- Assist in the development of action plans for addressing control breakdowns identified through self-assessment or audit findings.
- Prepare closure packages to document the resolution of Technology-related findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Risk, Audit, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications in risk management, compliance, or audit (e.g., CRISC, CAMS, CISSP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- 3-5 years of experience in risk management within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Compliance, Operational Risk, and Audit.
- Proven ability to develop and manage risk management policies and control frameworks.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to address complex risk and control issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage and influence stakeholders across all three lines of defense effectively.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and tools, with the ability to conduct comprehensive reviews and audits of business processes and controls.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
