CULTA is currently looking for our next Automated Packaging Specialist to join our dedicated Packaging team in Cambridge, MD As an Automated Packaging Specialist you will be responsible for the daily use, sanitization and preventative maintenance of automated packaging equipment. This position supports the Automated Packaging Lead and all Grow Packaging related functions.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures equipment is clean and calibrated at start of day, between strains, and end of day.
  • Maintains daily production logs and reports information to the METRC Coordinator for Grow Packaging.
  • Verifies start weight and end weight of source package, as well as piece count for all unit based inventory.
  • Confirms all packaging is compliant prior to transportation. Verifying that all product is all labeled and sealed.
  • Identifies problems as they present themselves and work through solutions with Automated Packaging Supervisor and/or manufacturer.
  • Works cohesively with various departments and provides operational support when deemed necessary and approved by management.
  • Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with the company's standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing
  • Experience with automated packaging systems preferred
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines (PPE, OSHA, MSDS)
  • Possesses the physical strength and stamina required to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs
  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Must be able to pass all applicable background checks
