USSOCOM develops and employs the world's finest SOF to conduct global special operations and activities as part of the Joint Force, in concert with the U.S. Government Interagency, Allies, and Partners, to support persistent, networked, and distributed combatant command operations and campaigns against state and non-state actors all to protect and advance U.S. policies and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

AV Technicians require excellent problem-solving and customer service skills, as well as thorough knowledge of AV/VTC hardware, software, and network connections. AV Technicians must have expertise in scheduling AV/VTC sessions in AV/VTC bridges, as well as hands-on experience with debugging the interoperation of AV/VTC bridges and end points.

Typical Duties Include:

· Installing, configuring, and maintaining AV/VTC endpoints

· Installing and configuring AV/VTC application and system software and upgrades

· Troubleshooting and repairing hardware and network connectivity issues

· Removing old equipment and performing data migration to new machines

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

· Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II security certification (e.g., Security+ ce).

· Must be a U.S. Citizen.

· Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for additional caveats.


Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience participating in and effectively contributing to a highly-collaborative team environment.

· Demonstrated ability to be innovative and to work independently.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
