  • Hands on experience with configuring routers and switches using command line Cisco IOS.
  • Knowledge and understanding of BGP, EIGRP routing protocols.
  • 5 years of broad knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols, have computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware, and increasingly responsible Information Technology skills to include Cisco competencies.
  • 3 years of experience in the capacity of a Network Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • 2 years of experience in a security monitoring role.
  • 3 years of experience configuring, troubleshooting, and administering the following:
    • Cisco devices, routing and switching, including hands on experience with configuring routers and switches using command line Cisco IOS and experience with BGP, EIGRP routing protocols.
    • VLANS, port interfaces, port channels, subnets, and updating Cisco IOS.
    • IPSEC and GRE tunnels.
    • Cisco wireless controllers and access points.
    • Firewalls specifically Palo Alto PAN-OS 11.0 and higher versions, as well as Cisco Firepower FTD and FMC 7.2.X and higher versions.
    • TACACS, SNMP, and ACLs.
    • Cisco cellular enabled routers.

Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Computer Science field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Additional Information:

Working days are Monday to Thursday. Overtime may be required after hours. California resident candidates only. Required to drive personal vehicle to Los Angeles County offices.
