Onboarding Support Position – Austin, Texas

Job Overview:

The onboarding support position is an in-office position. By being a member of the onboarding support team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the successful integration of independent contractors into our partner network. Your expertise will ensure that our contractor partners are seamlessly integrated and aligned with our operational processes, enabling us to deliver exceptional logistics services.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

Enrollment Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date enrollment status spreadsheets for independent contractor partners. Track progress from initial engagement through to complete integration, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolution of any outstanding items.

Communication and Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for independent contractor partners during the onboarding process. Provide over-the-phone assistance, addressing inquiries, clarifying expectations, and guiding partners through required documentation and steps.

Technology Utilization: Leverage Openforce, our onboarding and compliance management platform, to streamline and automate contractor integration processes. Familiarity with Openforce or similar platforms is essential for efficiently managing documentation, background checks, and certifications.

Documentation and Compliance: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all necessary documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements are met by independent contractor partners. Ensure accuracy and completeness of paperwork while adhering to company and legal standards.

Training and Orientation: Coordinate and conduct virtual orientation sessions for independent contractor partners, acquainting them with our company culture, operational expectations, and best practices.

Issue Resolution: Identify and address any potential roadblocks or challenges faced by independent contractor partners during the onboarding process. Work proactively to find solutions and escalate issues as necessary to ensure a positive partner experience.

Reporting: Update location spreadsheets that help to track onboarding progress, highlighting key missing documents prior to completion. Provide insights to enhance the onboarding process.

 

Skills/Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role dealing with compliance and/or third-party logistics is a plus.
  • Previous experience in onboarding, contractor management, or related roles within a logistics or supply chain environment is preferred.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills; proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work on a team and independently.
  • Self-starter with initiative to learn new skills.
  • Positive work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with the onboarding team and other colleagues.

 

This is an in-office position - no remote or hybrid options available. 

  

Hourly Rate: $16-$18/hour, DOE + benefits
