RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Project Manager or Sr. Project Engineer will be responsible for managing the installation, commissioning, and start-up of the Mechanical Equipment Installation Project on Site at Jeffersonville, OH
Responsible for the execution of the project in compliance with the project schedule & budget
Review and evaluate technical documentation, engineering drawings, SOWs, Area Layouts, and Deliverables
Develop and review Project Schedule based on available information derived from meetings, suppliers, and clients data
Work on-site at the plant coordinating with other PMs, Site Engineers, Clients, and contractors as an Owner-representative
Development & control over internal resources, budget, timing
Attend and facilitate project coordination meetings with customers & project partners
Review contractor payment requests, change requests, etc.
Communicate project status and needs between Engineering, Accounting, Purchasing, Logistics departments, sub-contractors, and Clients
Inspect installation work of corporate products to ensure compliance with contractual commitments
Meet with contractors and customers to ensure the project is completed according to the schedule
Write project reports, memoranda, and correspondence detailing project status and issues
Resolve issues and determine alternative solutions to construction, manufacturing, installation, or equipment issues and problems at customer sites
Meet and negotiate with the customer to determine the cost, terms, and conditions of change orders
Supervise the installation of equipment and purchased products and materials
REQUIREMENTS:
Min 10 years of Project Management Experience in Equipment Installation and/or construction of manufacturing facilities for Automotive & General Manufacturing
Solid understanding and experience with conveyors, tooling & process equipment
MS Project Scheduling Experience Desired (Not required)
Must be able to work daily onsite at Jeffersonville, OH
Bachelors Degree in Technical Field or Related work experience
Excellent Communication Skills, and ability to work with all levels of professionals including Clients, Subs, Management, and field employees
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous projects with diverse teams
Possess advanced MS Office skills. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
