Director of Nursing (RN) - Kingston Assisted Living Facility, Santa Fe

As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, Kingston Assisted Living Facility in Santa Fe is looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Leadership: Guide and inspire the nursing staff to ensure the highest level of care for our residents, like the steady guidance of autumn’s change.
  • Oversee Nursing Care Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that are tailored to each resident’s individual needs.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations to keep care on track, just like the seasonal rhythm of fall.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with other department heads to ensure a holistic approach to resident care that’s as seamless as fall’s transition.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Lead the recruitment, training, and ongoing support of nursing staff to foster a strong and skilled team.
  • Act as a Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for residents, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring smooth and transparent communication.
Qualifications:
  • Valid RN License: Must hold a current RN license in the state of New Mexico.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within assisted living, long-term care, or a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: In-depth understanding of state and federal regulations governing nursing in assisted living.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and connection.
