Job Description The Payroll and HR Admin at MBAF will be responsible for managing payroll processing, supporting HR functions such as onboarding and employee relations, and performing a variety of bookkeeping tasks. This role ensures that all payroll and HR operations are carried out smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. The Payroll and HR Admin will work closely with management and employees to maintain a productive and compliant workplace. Responsibilities: Process payroll timesheets accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all employee hours, adjustments, and deductions are properly recorded. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files, ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations. Handle payroll verification, adjustments, and tracking of time off and tardiness on a daily basis. Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including completion of all required paperwork and system updates. Schedule interviews and conduct phone interviews with potential candidates. Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks as needed, including processing invoices and recording costs. Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, including updating employee records and handling employee relations issues. Prepare expense reports, review them for accuracy, and enter debit card purchases into QuickBooks. Provide support in the preparation of payroll reports for management review prior to submission deadlines. Assist with interoffice accounting tasks on a weekly basis. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, complying with all safety and workplace standards.

Job Requirement: Available Monday-Friday 4:00 pm - 12:30 am High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in payroll, accounting, or HR is a plus. Previous experience in payroll processing, bookkeeping, or HR administration is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, and experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
