Description

Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for the entertainment industry? We are looking for a Commercial Lease Renewal Associate to ensure the seamless continuation of our operations. As a thriving entertainment company, we believe in fostering a friendly and inclusive work environment that promotes creativity and innovation.


In this role, you will be responsible for managing and negotiating commercial lease renewals for our various locations. Your main objective will be to secure favorable lease terms while maintaining a positive relationship. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess our space needs and make recommendations for lease renewals. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying up to date on industry trends and local market conditions to inform lease negotiations.


To be successful in this role, you should have exceptional negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities are crucial, as you will be interacting with external parties on a regular basis.


Responsibilities

  • Lead high volume contract renewal process for commercial leases
  • Develop and implement techniques to negotiate favorable terms with customers to meet internal financial benchmarks
  • Proactively manage calendar of lease expiration dates and renew agreements prior to expiration
  • Partner with legal to improve key contract language terms
  • Address customer needs in conjunction with service team and customer service departments
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with accounting department regarding rent, CAM, and tax reconciliations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, law, or similar discipline preferred
  • 5 years of experience negotiation experience, preferably with high volume commercial contracts
  • Real estate and commercial leasing experience highly preferred; license is not necessary
  • Exceptional contract negotiation and objection handling experience
  • Outstanding customer engagement and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret real estate leases
  • Experience with lease databases or Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate initiative and follow-through
  • Possess high level of attention to detail
