Job Description

As a RECRUITING CONSULTANT, you will support a recruiting team lead and client, contributing to the overall success of our recruiting projects. Representing our clients and attracting top talent for their key positions is the objective. Identifying, approaching and persuading top talent to consider our open positions, with persistence, is essential. You will update and maintain the ATS, internal reports and MS Teams as they pertain to our recruiting service. Most importantly, you'll ensure that every client and candidate is responded to swiftly and kept up to date. As a result, you will have a direct influence and an impactful role in each search. 

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Professional recruiting consultant, building relationships with our client hiring managers and HR Managers
  • Manage a requisition load of 2 to 10 jobs
  • Sourcing Expert: Research, source, identify, and contact candidates for our open position via phone, text, email, and social media as needed. Provide our clients with 3 + new qualified candidates per week.
  • Conduct in-depth recruiting kick-off calls with hiring managers
  • Comfortable cold-calling passive candidates regularly
  • Convert sourced candidates into phone interviews
  • Write job descriptions and phone interview templates for assigned positions
  • Conduct phone interviews and transcribe detailed phone interviews. Accuracy is critical.
  • Candidate Contact- phone interviews, declining candidates, regular and concise communication
  • Schedule phone interviews and on-site interviews in Outlook
  • Provide regular and weekly client communication and project analytics
  • Maintain multiple spreadsheets and reports for our teams
  • Update the applicant tracking system, Excel, and databases regularly. Run reports as needed.
  • Support a recruiting team for one or multiple clients; doing whatever is asked of you to support the recruiting teams
  • Manage the work assigned to a Recruiting Coordinator
Qualifications

  • BS or BA – or -  an Associate degree plus 5 + years of recruiting experience
  • 3+ years recruiting experience
  • RPO experience preferred
  • Comfortable and confident in cold-calling passive candidates on a regular basis
  • Team player – able to initiate communication with team members
  • High energy, great people skills, and a “natural” with customer service
  • Experience in a technical recruiting environment such as IT, engineering, and manufacturing. Technical sales or construction trades
  • Able to multitask with a smile and genuine team player
  • Work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency to meet our clients’ needs
  • Strong typing skills – 50 wpm+. Must be able to type while on the phone.
  • Strong business etiquette and professional demeanor. Must be able to hold information confidential and act maturely.
  • Proficient in Office 365, Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in 1 or more ATS (Smart Recruiter, Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, Monster ATS, etc)
