The Director - Quality Management & Compliance is responsible for all aspects of JFCS's performance improvement and compliance activities in accordance with the organization's mission, vision, and values.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the organization's behavioral health and social services
  • Ensures programs are in compliance with all legal and contractual obligations
  • Creates and manages effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
  • Regularly audits program procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks
  • Provides ongoing reviews of agency plans and promotes efficient and effective services
  • Ensures all employees are educated on the latest program regulations and procedures
  • Aides in the development and implementation of professional development activities that directly affect the quality of services
  • Provides mechanisms for the accountability of behavioral health and social services
  • Helps create and pilot data collection instruments and data collection activities
  • Organizes and maintains information related to incident reports, satisfaction surveys, grievances and appeals, utilization management, adequacy and sufficiency of services, and other client-related information
  • Assists with data analysis and contributes to the reporting and interpretation of information
  • Organizes and maintains credentialing and privileging files for direct service staff
  • Ensures all client files are up to date and supports staff during internal client file reviews, outside audits, and agency license reviews
  • Reviews client files and documents to ensure that services are within acceptable standards of practice
  • Supervises the quality management/compliance specialists
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

WORK HOURS, SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY

There will be evening and weekends that will require your attendance in order to best represent the Agency. Some flexibility in scheduling is required.

  • Must be handle all facets of the business both standard and non-standard situations

  • Must be willing to accept feedback, and respond in professional manner

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in related field
  • Minimum five years related work experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Minimum two years supervising staff
  • Proven ability to work under pressure with deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding organizational, leadership and team-building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), internet research, and experience using databases and information gathering systems
