Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents, while ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Lead and train a team of dietary associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a safe and sanitary dining environment, adhering to all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Inventory Management and Purchasing: Oversee the purchasing and inventory of food and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our dining needs.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and executing special events and functions, such as holiday meals and resident celebrations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of two years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications and Training: Serv-Safe certification and continued education in food service management preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
