Job Overview

Position Summary

The Environmental Quality Assurance Manager will possess substantial experience at a comparable level of responsibility, supporting the quality assurance, environmental, and sustainability objectives of technical maintenance and repair initiatives similar in size, scope, and complexity to those within the CMI Management framework.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of tasks by CMI personnel and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards in all CMI operations.
  • Provide the Government with compliant products and services while collaborating on the administration of the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan.
  • Develop and oversee the Quality Control Plan for the contract.
  • Lead and mentor quality control technicians in their daily responsibilities and inspections.
  • Work alongside client personnel to facilitate collaborative quality inspections as necessary.
  • Coordinate with CMI corporate and site management to keep all quality-focused personnel updated on compliance requirements.
  • Manage the tracking, documentation, and disposal of hazardous waste generated during maintenance activities, including identifying the need for new or revised permits and overseeing the Certifications and Permits program as required.

Qualifications and Education

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Environmental Systems Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality control management for contracts of similar size and scope, with leadership experience managing quality control inspectors; five (5) years is preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in environmental control responsibilities on contracts of similar size and scope.
