Job overview:

Responsible for leading daily initiatives of inside sales from both a strategic and operational capacity. Aids in the attainment of the organization’s sales objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage, coach, develop and inspire sales staff to help them achieve their goals, including the possibility of assisting in the development of training programs
  • Implement aggressive sales management process where time is focused on developing strategies and coaching all aspects of the sales process. This will be done through 1:1 meetings, call monitoring and feedback as well as other development strategies.
  • Works with internal sales reps to plan sales objectives, to develop sales strategies and coordinate functions
  • Develop and implement inside sales strategy, with a focus on profitable, aggressive revenue growth in those segments of the business
  • Actively evaluate, establish, and coach to Performance Metrics set up for individual performers
  • Lead and conduct professional development and training programs for both the individual and sales team
  • Able to effectively execute a Performance Management plan where needed
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, conference calls and other similar communications and activities
  • Analyze sales reports, accurately identifying trends, variances and root causes
  • Maintains safe and healthy working conditions within stewardship guidelines by ensuring all employees comply with company safety policies, practices, and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Excellent/proven organization ability
  • Proficient skills with all Microsoft programs and a CRM (Salesforce)
  • Possess a high level of professionalism, ethics, confidence, and a commitment to a team approach
  • Effective customer service skills/abilities with a can do attitude and a strong work ethic and personal drive
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to conduct presentations
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Consultative selling approach with a hunter mentality
  • Ability to manage, coach and motivate a large staff with widely differing experiences and skill sets

Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory

5+ years in a direct inside sales role

5+ years managing within a high performance inside sales organization
