Ampsight is seeking a talented and dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer with TS/SCI eligibility to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security posture of our organization and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions, perform risk assessments, and conduct security audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Security: Design, implement, and support security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
  • Security Incident Response: Respond to and investigate security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Security Audits: Conduct security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Security Architecture: Assist in the design and implementation of security architecture.
  • Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
  • Security Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security training programs to raise awareness and educate employees on best security practices.
  • Security Threat Intelligence: Monitor and analyze threat intelligence sources for potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility
  • Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and technologies
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software
  • Experience with security incident response and vulnerability management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
  • Experience with cloud security
  • Experience with network security technologies such as VPNs and IDS/IPS
