About the Role:

Nightwing is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing security systems for various manual and automated systems environments, including on-prem and cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced cybersecurity capabilities to protect organization data against unauthorized disclosure, accidental or intentional loss of data, and unauthorized modification.
  • Work with commercial, custom, and/or government computer product vendors in the design, evaluation, and architecture of state-of-the-art secure GOTS/COTS applications, operating systems, networks, databases, and custom-built technology.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the protection of organization data and the successful implementation of cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. TS/SCI is preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
  • 10+ years of software development experience required.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java development and related technologies
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile software development
  • Experience in the installation and configuration of SecureSphere Imperva Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)
  • Experience securing network traffic via AWS API Gateway and AWS Application Load Balancers, cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM)
  • Familiarity with intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), RSA Security Analytics (NetWitness), Symantec Bluecoat, Cisco FirePower (SourceFire), Splunk, PKI, chain of trust, and certificates. etc.

Desired Skills:

  • 5+ years of Cloud DevOps Administrative or Engineering experience
  • 3+ years of related Network Security Identity Management tools engineering experience, including installing, configuring and troubleshooting experience with one or more of these tools:
    • SecureSphere Imperva Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Database Activity Monitoring (DAM)
    • RSA Security Analytics (NetWitness)
    • Symantec Bluecoat
    • Cisco FirePower (SourceFire)
    • Splunk
