Medix Infusion is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Liaison to join our team. As a Clinical Liaison, you will work closely with physicians, healthcare facilities, and case management professionals to coordinate patient care transitions from hospitals or healthcare facilities. In addition to providing excellent care and education to patients, you will also oversee existing accounts and foster new referral opportunities.


Medix Infusion provides personalized home and in-suite infusion therapy services for patients with chronic or acute conditions. Our dedicated team ensures each patient’s journey is as smooth as possible. We offer medical infusion therapies, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectable and infusion treatments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient education through teaching sessions.
  • Proactively initiate discharge planning with case management to ensure a seamless transition home.
  • Actively communicate, educate, and plan with referring facilities.
  • Seek out new referral sources on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to execute account business growth plans, discuss opportunities, assess progress, and provide feedback.
  • Develop relationships and visit referral sources in person, following appropriate hospital protocols.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage territory and accounts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly goals set by the Sales Manager.
  • Conduct assessments of patients selected by the hospital for home infusion care.
  • Complete and maintain all required reports.
  • Collect any necessary documentation needed in the field.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Licensed (LVN/RN) with at least 2 years of experience in the field or a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
  • Prior experience in customer relations within Sales and Marketing is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a valid license as an LVN or RN.
  • Background in sales or marketing is a plus.
  • Action-oriented with the ability to identify opportunities, adapt to change, work independently, and prioritize tasks/responsibilities.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to change and uncertainty.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, compliance requirements, and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Attentive and active listening skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with Medix Infusion staff, vendors, and patients.
  • Ability to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Medix Infusion team.
  • Proficient in using company email, Microsoft Teams, and self-service payroll software (time and attendance, benefits, pay statements).
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office products and navigating Internet Explorer. Proficient in typing, word processing (Microsoft Outlook/Express, Word, Excel), and familiar with office equipment.
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural and language differences as they pertain to patient care delivery.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, and reading. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
