Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of products to verify adherence to order specifications and the company's quality control protocols.
  • Accurately document inspection findings in a timely manner.
  • Communicate inspection outcomes and statuses to management and engineering teams as necessary.
  • Propose innovative ideas to enhance inspection efficiency.
  • Review company records to gather essential information regarding product dimensions and quality test results.
  • Perform comprehensive visual inspections.
  • Apply approval or rejection stamps on products and compile detailed examination reports.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Ability to perform essential functions and assigned tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred.
  • Experience in the industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in interpreting specifications is required.
  • Experience with mechanical and configuration hardware, including fasteners, brackets, wire forms, seals, and connectors, is essential.
  • Mechanical inspection skills, including the use of calipers and micrometers, are necessary.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets, word processing, internet research, and email, are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • A strong sense of urgency is essential.
  • Capability to meet frequent short timeline goals and deadlines is required.
