Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet order specifications and adhere to the company's quality control standards.
- Accurately document inspection findings in a timely manner.
- Communicate results and status updates to management and engineering teams as necessary.
- Propose innovative ideas to improve inspection efficiency.
- Review company records to gather information on product specifications and quality test outcomes.
- Perform visual inspections to assess product quality.
- Apply approval or rejection stamps on products and compile detailed reports of inspections.
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Ability to perform essential functions and tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred.
- Relevant industry experience is a plus.
- Competence in interpreting specifications is required.
- Experience with mechanical and configuration hardware such as fasteners, brackets, wire forms, seals, and connectors is essential.
- Mechanical inspection skills, including proficiency with calipers and micrometers, are required.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets, word processing, internet research, and email, are necessary.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines are required.
