Position Summary:
Our client, a prominent player in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure they meet order specifications and adhere to the company's quality control standards.
- Accurately document inspection findings in a timely manner.
- Communicate results and status updates to management and engineering teams as necessary.
- Propose innovative ideas to streamline inspection processes and reduce turnaround times.
- Review company records to gather essential information regarding product specifications and quality test outcomes.
- Perform visual inspections to assess product quality.
- Affix approval or rejection stamps on products and compile detailed reports of inspections.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential functions and tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance is preferred.
- Relevant industry experience is advantageous.
- Competence in interpreting specifications is required.
- Experience with mechanical and configuration hardware, including fasteners and connectors, is essential.
- Proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques, including the use of calipers and micrometers, is required.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing, are necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- A strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential.
