The Marketing Growth Manager’s primary responsibility is to be the subject matter expert at OuterFactor regarding digital marketing, product marketing, channel marketing, content creation, and other related accountabilities. OuterFactor is located in Battle Creek, MI and this is a hybrid position.

Key accountabilities for the Marketing Growth Manager include:  

Strategy and Development 

Owning, developing and executing the marketing strategy and growth opportunities for the Company. Be the subject matter expert from the top to the bottom of the sales and marketing funnel.  

Creating Amazing Content  

Creating content to support our website, target markets, digital strategies, and partner needs. This role includes creating videography / photography of our products standalone or in-use in vertical markets (e.g. healthcare, transportation, education, etc.) either in-house in our studio or with agency support.    

Lead Generation  

Generating top of the funnel B2B leads both from direct marketing efforts and through partner co-marketing programs.  Partner with internal teams and sales to place leads with our authorized partners for maximum impact. Work with partners to maximize our ROI on co-marketing initiatives.

We are looking for an applicant with a diverse set of skills who is comfortable jumping in where they are needed; has an entrepreneurial spirit and can identify opportunities without direction or input from leadership - you must be a self-starter, quick learner, and resourceful. Once you join our team, here is a snapshot of what your day-to-day may include: 

  • Strategy implementation and reporting 

  • Social media posting, management, and analysis 

  • Analysis of KPIs including brand awareness, campaign impact, leads generated, MQL conversion, and SQL conversion 

  • eCommerce management 

  • Website, SEO, SEM 

  • Management of contracted marketing projects 

  • Text and visual content creation: 

  • Product mockups 

  • Product data sheets 

  • Sales vertical content 

  • Co-Marketing materials 

  • Photo content creation 

  • Video content creation 

Required Skills:  

  • Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other related design tools  

  • Keyshot 

  • Zoho or similar marketing automation tools  

  • Marketing budget management  

  • Excellent written and verbal skills  

  • Program Management or Project Management experience  

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools and programs  

Required Education and Experience:  

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a marketing generalist role for a B2B brand.  

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with through-partner marketing  

  • Experience both using and configuring marketing tools (e.g. Zoho)  

  • 2 years experience using ERP software, preferably NetSuite.  

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing or business degree  

  • Project Management certification is a plus
