What it's like to be a Grades 1-2 Autistic Support/Life Skills Self-Contained Teacher at DEEP ROOTS

As a Full-Time Grades 1-2 Autistic Support/Life Skills Self-Contained Teacher at Deep Roots Charter School, you'll have the rewarding responsibility of teaching a class of approximately 7 students with Autism or other special needs. You will implement a tailored curriculum, adapting your instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of each learner. Your role will involve closely monitoring student progress, ensuring that each child's development is tracked and supported effectively. Additionally, you'll be responsible for writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), collaborating with parents and specialists to create personalized strategies for success.
