What You Can Expect:

The Regional RBT is a Registered Behavior Technician that provides ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy to clients ages 2-6 on the autism spectrum under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). Regional RBTs must be willing to travel minimally to all centers within their assigned region and provide availability for at least 4 sessions per week and up to 6 sessions per week on a permanent schedule. Session coverage is available Monday – Friday 7:45am-4:45pm (travel time not included).


AM Session: 7:45am-12:15pm

PM Session: 12:15pm-4:45pm


Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage of one-to-one therapy to assigned clients
  • Independently coordinate coverage of pre-planned absences; ability to pickup same day cancellations for additional hours
  • Implement programs and behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA
  • Demonstrate fluency and competency in basic ABA principles and methodology
  • Attend required trainings and meetings
  • Supervise clients’ lunch, nap or break periods
  • Maintain data tracking systems and session documentation as part of the client’s medical record
  • Represent The Place for Children with Autism in a positive and enthusiastic way to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Adhere and follow through on established protocols and procedure including all safety regulations

What Will Set you Apart:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Driver’s license, reliable transportation, active car insurance, must pass MVR check
  • Physical requirements: ability to lift up to twenty pounds, bend at the knee and squat for up to one hour per day, and ability to follow a child without restriction throughout the center, sometimes at a rapid pace, to contain elopement behaviors.
