Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will work under the supervision of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement behavior therapy programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or other behavioral challenges. This role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to improving the lives of those you serve.

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives. 
  • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions with clients in various settings, including home, school, or community settings. 
  • Collect accurate and reliable data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions. 
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of client behavior by conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other relevant assessments. 
  • Collaborate with other members of the therapy team, including BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients. 
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations, including those set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). 
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in behavior therapy. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress, discuss treatment plans, and address any concerns or questions. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, progress reports, and other relevant paperwork in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. 
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions, adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). 
  • Strong understanding of behavior principles and behavior management techniques. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. 
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations as needed. 
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality. 
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs. 
  • Ability to pass background checks and meet other employment requirements as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field. 
  • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral challenges. 
  • Previous experience working with the Jewish community and diverse age groups. 
  • Familiarity with the implementation of applied behavior analysis in various settings (e.g., schools, homes, community). 
  • Experience using technology and software for data collection and analysis
