  • Title: Sr. Customer Development Manager, Regional Foodservice
  • Location: Remote

  • Own and develop select corporate national distributor relationships, including developing and selling in new private brand items, negotiating long-term private brand supply agreements, and supporting national and regional business development efforts.
  • Develop, prospect and penetrate regional chain accounts. This will include working with broker partners to coordinate meetings online and in person, then establishing a direct relationships with key decision makers at regional accounts.
  • Maintain activity progress as well as build out detailed account information on volume, brand, items, contacts and distribution.
  • Perform and develop training decks for both brokers as well as Private Brands and owned brands.
  • Manage and attend trade show for key distributors as well as national buying groups (where appropriate) with the approved and budgeted trade show list.
  • Area of direct coverage - TB

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree plus 10 years of foodservice sales leadership.
  • Must be a professional representative of the business and possess a high energy level.
  • Demonstrated track record in negotiation skills and developing strong business relationships.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50% for customer meetings.
  • Effective verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated abilities to multi-task and handle multiple high priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and influence across a matrixed team.
  • Proven ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel in the organization.
  • High level of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
