Important: This position is an on-site/hybrid position located in Madison, WI


Job Summary:

The DevSecOps Analyst II position performs level 2 helpdesk functions, assists with engineering efforts, handles ticket management and triage, and assists project teams with troubleshooting.  This role will also assist in the support of CI/CD and security systems, user account management and will monitor sites and systems within the organization to ensure resiliency and reliability. The DevSecOps Analyst II position reports directly to the DevSecOps Manager.


Responsibilities

DevSecOps - Operations:

  • Support project and internal infrastructure to meet client requirements and staff needs through helpdesk triage, management, and resolution.
  • Support continuous integration and deployment of systems.
  • Manage directory and domain services.
  • Assist in the maintenance and support of networks and firewalls.
  • Support application containerization management.
  • Support identity and access management systems.
  • Investigate and resolve issues with project and internal infrastructure.
  • Configure and monitor back-ups for on-site infrastructure.
  • Provide AV equipment operations and support.
  • Provide general systems support as needed.
  • Respond to infrastructure issues during on call rotations.
  • Provide cloud support for systems running in Azure and AWS


DevSecOps - Security:

  • Manage identities and access for employees and project teams.
  • Support organization networks and firewalls.
  • Provides continuous monitoring of log and management systems.
  • Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
  • Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage.
  • Respond to security issues during on call rotations.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, technology or business related discipline; may be substituted with additional experience.
  • Two years’ experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems and network connectivity
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing PC hardware and network infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarization with containerization methods.
  • Familiarity with and experience in shell script languages such as Powershell and Bash
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self motivated to learn new technologies and principals.


Preferred:

  • Familiarity with scripting programming languages such as Python.
  • Preferred certifications:
    • AZ-104
    • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
    • AWS Certified SysOps Admininstrator – Associate
    • Terraform Associate
    • Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
