Duties:

The Commercial Banking Assistant is responsible for working closely with CRMs, Corporate staff, and Portfolio Managers. Facilitate the loan process on new loan production. Forward correspondence to attorneys and title companies with regard to pending and closing loans. Work closely with the Treasury Services Representatives providing customer service for clients relating to bank, accounts, and treasury services. Work closely with the commercial credit department providing information on behalf of CRMs and loading small business and commercial credits for approval. Focus on overall onboarding of bank relationship for customers to include deposit and loan relationships while maintaining positive and professional customer relationships. Serve as a liaison for administrative tasks related to the commercial relationship.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of banking experience or equivalent education
  • Possess an understanding of Treasury Services
  • Possess an understanding of relationship management
  • Be a self-starter with minimal management oversight
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to make oral and written presentations
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively utilize computer technology with proficiency in all software applications utilized by the FCB CBO
  • Ability to travel as needed, including occasional overnight travel
