Salary: $19.50 per hour

This position is responsible for cleaning the carpets and hard floor areas within the casino facilities by personally performing the following duties, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external quests.
  • Ensure that all carpets and hard floor areas are cleaned
  • Sweeps, vacuums, and extracts all flooring and carpeting as scheduled.
  • Striping and waxing hard floors as scheduled.
  • Cleans stains and spills on flooring and carpeting when necessary.
  • Performs safety and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure that it is working properly.
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned, charged, and stored after every
  • Engages guests in a professional guest service
  • Takes immediate action regarding safety issues, by either personally addressing the situation or elevating it to the appropriate leve
  • Attends necessary trainings and staff meetings.
  • Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or
  • Performs other special projects and duties as
Skills/ Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED desired.
  • Six months experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and skill in professional floor care techniques and application
  • Basic knowledge and comprehension of Safety Data
  • Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, and Appreciate our guest.
  • Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
Important Notes
