Overview

The Floor Maintenance Technician is responsible for the thorough cleaning and maintenance of designated areas within the facility.

Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Compensation: $17 per hour

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided
  • No educational requirements such as a high school diploma, GED, or college degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service
  • One year of relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled tasks including stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing, or sealing various types of hard surface floors using appropriate tools and cleaning agents.
  • Conduct scheduled carpet cleaning utilizing approved techniques and chemicals.
  • Carry out spot cleaning of carpets as necessary.
  • Ensure the working area is secured with appropriate safety measures and restore the area for public use once tasks are completed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all equipment used and promptly report any malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards encountered during routine assignments.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and personnel regulations while performing assigned duties.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
