Overview:
LMK Recruiting is hiring a Mechanical Integrity Engineer. This role ensures that all mechanical integrity programs are maintained and comply with regulatory and corporate standards. This role oversees the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems to keep the facility operating efficiently 24/7 while adhering to safety, environmental, and quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise inspections, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Conduct work audits to verify task completion and adherence to procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports using SAP CMMS.
  • Identify improvement opportunities in safety, environmental impact, cost, productivity, and quality.
  • Develop and manage inspection schedules, coating programs, and mechanical integrity programs.
  • Support ongoing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Participate in audits, safety assessments, and quality committees.
  • Oversee the work of contractors and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage equipment spares and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering experience.
  • Preferred certifications: API 653, API 510, API 570.
  • Strong background in mechanical integrity, reliability practices, and preventive maintenance.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to climb, crawl, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands/arms.
  • Continuous attention to detail, analytical thinking, and adaptability.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and heavy machinery.
  • Must work irregular hours, wear PPE, and maintain composure under stress.

Other Functions:

  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

This role demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement within a challenging industrial environment.
