Job Description:

The JAAW Group, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Requirements and Integration Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, defining, and integrating enterprise-level requirements for our clients within the Space Force. This is a critical position that requires a strong technical background and knowledge of space systems and their associated requirements.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to elicit, analyze, document, and validate enterprise-level system requirements for space systems and associated infrastructure.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather and understand customer needs and translate them into comprehensive technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of client systems, processes, and architectures to ensure requirements align with the overall enterprise goals and objectives.
- Identify, assess, and analyze complex system integration challenges, ensuring requirements are clear, realistic, and achievable.
- Participate in system design and architecture reviews to ensure requirements traceability, completeness, and consistency.
- Work closely with systems engineers, software developers, and subject matter experts to ensure proper translation of requirements into system designs, specifications, and implementation plans.
- Support the development of systems engineering artifacts, including system requirements specifications, interface control documents, and system-level design documents.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to evaluate and prioritize system enhancements, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and operational needs.
- Participate in configuration management and change management activities, ensuring proper handling of requirements changes and communicating impacts to stakeholders.
- Conduct technical reviews and provide insightful feedback to ensure compliance with enterprise standards, best practices, and industry regulations.
- Serve as a technical advisor and consultant, providing guidance and expertise regarding enterprise requirements, integration, and system architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the space domain to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Support proposal development efforts by providing technical expertise and contributing to the development of win strategies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Requirements Engineer, or similar roles, preferably in the space domain.
- Strong knowledge and experience with space systems, architecture, and associated infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and validation, preferably in the defense or space industry.
- Familiarity with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Understanding of system integration, data exchange, and interoperability principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and propose creative solutions to complex challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Existing security clearance (Secret or higher) is preferred but not required.
