Location: Napa

Compensation: $80,000 to $85,000k annually

Job Summary: 

A well-established client of ours in the Wine Industry is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions for the company. This is a full-time role in the office with daily with an excellent benefits package.

Job Title Responsibilities: 

·         Full cycle accounts payable. Review aging reports, handle vendor communication and expense reports. 

·         Review and process all sales orders. Send out invoices and follow up on past due accounts. 

·         Monthly GL reconciliations on all accounts. 

·         Reconcile credit card transactions. 

·         Send billing statements to customers upon request. 

·         Generate invoices for crush and bottling. 

·         Check runs and deposits. 

·        Review all timecards for accuracy and enter documentation. Load new hire paperwork into the system. 

·         Maintain proper filing and organization of files. 

Job Title Requirements: 

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required. 

·         Minimum 3-5 years of experience in similar role preferred.

·         Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel preferred.

·         Experience working in the Wine Industry a plus
