Nevada Illumination is looking for a qualified Salesperson to work with existing clients and develop new and potential accounts. Sales targets focus on property management companies,  and commercial properties to provide lighting repair, installation, and maintenance solutions.  This position works with both Nevada Illumination’s customers and prospective business client opportunities. His or her focus will be to identify and understand the full range of the sales target needs and provide them with a full scope of services we offer to meet them. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek out new business opportunities by calling on current customers and prospective customers to solicit new business. The position also includes networking to secure first appointments at the decision maker level.
  • Communicate the full range of services available to existing clients and seek to expand footprint for additional properties. 
    • Property management companies handle multiple HOA’s and commercial lots, with the potential to add other clients they presently manage for our services.
    • Present pricing options for time & material projects, and maintenance agreements to assist HOA property managers in budgeting efforts.
  • New Business Development:
    • Industrial, commercial, and retail properties are managed through both on and off-site offices. This is where there is potential to offer our services for all inside and outdoor facility lighting needs.
    • For new HOA property management, prospect sales will include similar outreach activity regarding existing clients our experience in the HOA market provides additional leverage.
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships with the purpose of gaining the trust of existing and potential clients in our ability to meet their objectives, and delivering value added solutions.
  • Generate and deliver proposals that lead to signed maintenance contracts and work orders.
  • Participate in sales and industry training and converting that training to sales results.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other members of the operations and service teams to ensure the customer needs are achieved.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Clear communications skills: Ability to communicate and present effectively to all levels including management.
  • Knowledge of commercial lighting and some electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with new and existing clients. For existing customers, the additional focus is to maintain present sales volume and to facilitate add-on business and services.
  • Ability to collaborate with other individuals, departments, and teams within the company.
  • Must be well organized and able to handle multiple proposals and processes simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (and a CRM).
  • Reliability is vital in maintaining Nevada Illumination’s high-performance business standard and reputation.
  • Attention to detail and accurate reporting.
