Job description:

We are seeking a motivated, detailed and customer-oriented Salesperson to join our highly reputable team. Must be outgoing, friendly and eager. The primary responsibility of this individual will be to effectively engage with customers, demonstrate product knowledge, and close sales deals. Working in a supportive team environment, the ideal candidate should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, a passion for golf carts, and the ability to work efficiently on a part-time basis.


Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner.

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge about golf carts, including their features, performance, and maintenance requirements.

• Conduct intake interviews to understand customer preferences and needs.

• Guide customers in selecting the most suitable golf cart based on their requirements, preferences, and budgets.

• Provide accurate and detailed product information to customers and address any inquiries or concerns they may have.

• Organize and display golf carts attractively on the sales floor to enhance their appeal to potential buyers.

• Conduct test drives of golf carts for interested customers, ensuring their safety during the process.

• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals.

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and ensure all golf carts are presentable.

• Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and financing options.

• Coordinate with the service department to address customer inquiries regarding repairs, warranty coverage, and maintenance services.

• Keep up-to-date on current trends in golf carts, industry news, and competitor information.

• Attend sales meetings and trainings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

• Call on communities and golf courses and set up DEMO days to promote our company and services. (ability to tow a trailer is preferred but not mandatory)


Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in a golf cart dealership or a related industry but not mandatory.

• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers and build lasting relationships.

• Passion for golf carts, golfing, or outdoor recreation is highly desirable.

• Ability to work in a dynamic sales team and independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks.

• Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Flexibility to fill in shifts when needed on alternative days. Flexibility to attend outside events to promote our products and services as required. May involve a weekend day.
