Position Overview: As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying and capturing new business opportunities within your designated territory. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their specific needs, and offering tailored solutions utilizing our advanced machine vision technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the packaging, bottling, aerospace, and food and beverage industries.
  • Identify and qualify leads through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking events, and industry conferences.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our machine vision technology.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales, with a minimum of 3 years of experience selling technical products or solutions.
  • Experience selling into manufacturing facilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of automation technology in a factory setting..
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel within a 3-hour driving radius to cover the following cities: Nashville, TN, Louisville, KY, Evansville, IN, Lexington, KY, Clarksville, TN, Huntsville, AL.
