We are seeking independent Wine Outside Sales Representatives to join our team This is a commission-based position.

Location is stated as Columbia, MD. However, we are looking for coverage all across Central Maryland

Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing trade customers (retail stores, restaurants, bars)
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Coordinate and / or conduct Product Promotions at retail customers (store Wine Tastings)
  • Routinely contact and visit existing customers
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Manage or monitor deliveries to customers
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts receivable

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Maryland alcohol sales, and customer service
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented

Job Requirements:

  • Background check required
  • Valid driver's license with clean 3-year record
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Be able to lift / carry at least a case of wine (32 lbs) regularly
  • Be able to pour wine samples for all customers
  • Have or be able to acquire Alcohol Server training
