As a Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive tax services to our clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations while maximizing tax efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key advisor to clients on various tax-related matters, including strategic tax planning, compliance, and audits.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on changes to tax laws, rules, and regulations, and communicate implications to clients and team members.
  • Assist clients in resolving tax issues, including audits, appeals, and court cases, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, prioritizing workload to meet client needs and firm objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights and recommendations for improving tax processes and procedures.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 plus years of experience working for CPA firms, with a focus on taxation.
  • Extensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach to service delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience assisting clients with audits, appeals, and court cases preferred.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
