ABOUT THE COMPANY
Exciting Tax Accountant opportunity with a quickly growing and expanding organization. Our client has thrived through COVID and is in heavy organic and acquisition growth mode. Coming out of the services industry they are quickly becoming the go to organization within their space. Ideally, they would like to have someone out of manufacturing or serviced based organization but are open to candidates in other industries.
This opportunity is going to have a heavy focus on sales and use tax and work directly with the CFO to identify and optimize the processes and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX ACCOUNTANT
- The Tax Accountant will complete all tax returns.
- Work with compliance on state returns.
- Handle account reconciliations
- Prepare reports to document transactions.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE TAX ACCOUNTANT:
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 3+ years General Accounting
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Higher level Excel skills.
- Work well independently.
