Responsibilities:

* Prepare fiduciary income tax returns and maintain accounts and records for various estates and trusts
* Coordinate estate and trust planning, including calculation of potential estate and/or gift taxes
* Coordinate distributions to trust beneficiaries and arrange for payment of estimated taxes
* Advise and consult on estate, gift, and trust tax planning matters
* Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and other professional advisors to achieve client goals
* Demonstrate knowledge of all technical aspects of the job, including related knowledge of necessary systems and procedures
* Handle more complex tasks and projects within discipline/function
* Review work of less experienced staff and share knowledge to develop staff technical skills
* Recognize complex technical issues, evaluate facts efficiently, and use strategic decision-making skills to assist management in solving problems

Requirements:

* 2-5 years of experience in a relevant position
* Public accounting or other professional services environment preferred
* Experience with trust accounting, estate/trust planning, and analyzing estate/trust documents
* Experience with ProSystem FH and Engagement preferred
* Experience with providing comprehensive tax services to a diverse client base
* Experience with preparing complex estate/trust/gift tax returns
