Job Title: Association Outreach Coordinator

Job Overview:

Our trade association is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive Association Outreach Coordinator. This pivotal role involves marketing our trade association, plumbing apprenticeship program, and e-learning offerings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of social media platforms, demonstrate proficiency in WIX for website updates, utilize Constant Contact for communications, and be adept at blog posting and newsletter creation, as well as use of CANVA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing & Outreach:
    • Promote the association and its programs through various social media platforms.
    • Navigate WIX for website updates and manage the association's online presence.
    • Use Constant Contact for email communications and marketing campaigns.
    • Post regular updates on blogs and newsletters to engage and inform the community.
  • Community Engagement:
    • Attend job fairs and school outreach programs to attract new applicants and members.
    • Cold call and reach out to community partners to discover new and innovative marketing strategies.
    • Represent the association at events, fostering positive impressions and relationships.
  • Fundraising & Revenue Generation:
    • Identify and secure donors and new revenue streams.
    • Increase membership through targeted outreach and engagement strategies.
    • Write and facilitate grant applications to secure funding.
  • Professionalism & Teamwork:
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and communication style.
    • Work well in a team environment while also possessing the ability to learn and work independently.
    • Solve problems as they arise and ensure meticulous record-keeping.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Manage all other office duties as assigned by the CEO.
    • Must be available for events and all-hands-on-deck commitments as determined by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in all major social media platforms.
  • Experienced in using WIX for website maintenance and updates.
  • Skilled in using Constant Contact for communication campaigns.
  • Excellent blog and newsletter writing skills.
  • Experience in attending job fairs and conducting school outreach.
  • Strong ability to find and secure donors and revenue streams.
  • Knowledge of grant writing and facilitation.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Effective communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to learn independently and be proactive in problem-solving.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with occasional overtime.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours for events and critical commitments.
  • Clean DMV and criminal record, and be willing to undergo background checks accordingly. 

Work Schedule:

  • Primarily Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.
  • Occasional overtime and availability for events outside business hours as needed.
