As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Chamber of Commerce, coordinating events, and supporting our members. 

Responsibilities:   

  • Oversee the overall operations of the Chamber of Commerce, including budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning. 

  • Manage a team of staff members, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure productivity and efficiency. 

  • Coordinate and execute events, programs, and initiatives that support the Chamber's mission and goals. 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Chamber members, community partners, and stakeholders. 

  • Implement and improve operational processes and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness. 

  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Chamber's board of directors and other stakeholders. 

  • Stay informed about local business trends, economic developments, and legislative issues that impact Chamber members. 

Qualifications: 

  • Associates degree in business administration, management, or a related field . 

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a Chamber of Commerce or similar organization. 

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 

  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning. 

  • Familiarity with community and economic development issues. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, CRM programs, Quickbooks and other relevant software applications.
