Richmond, United States Keeping Current Matters Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

We believe that product management is instrumental in shaping the future of our organization.

Do you wake up with an insatiable need to innovate and create? Is your superpower launching an idea into a world-class product? Are you looking to make an impact on something greater than yourself (alongside some truly amazing people)?

Then you're going to LOVE this opportunity at Keeping Current Matters.

At KCM, our customers are more than just people who subscribe to our product. We refer to them as Members because they are Members of the KCM community. We partner with our KCM Members to help families feel confident when buying and selling a home.

The KCM Vision

We believe every family should feel confident when buying and selling a home.

We do this by transforming the way consumers are educated in the housing industry - providing real estate professionals with market insights to stay current on what’s happening, and marketing tools to share them in a simple way that is easy to understand. Since 2007, KCM has helped hundreds of thousands of agents to educate and serve buyers and sellers like never before.

As Senior Product Manager, you'll contribute to our vision by:

  • Owning the product lifecycle from initial conception through launch, and overseeing post-launch activities including measurement, optimization, and growth
  • Defining the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Developing and maintaining a feature roadmap, prioritizing product initiatives, and managing backlog to ensure timely and impactful product releases
  • Overseeing project timelines, resources, and deliverables while utilizing performance metrics and data-driven insights to guide product decisions and improvements.

If...

  • You are passionate about people and the user experience. You have strong empathy for the customer, their success, and the value they need.
  • You navigate ambiguity with confidence. You possess the ability to make informed decisions and guide teams effectively, even when all the puzzle pieces are not immediately apparent.
  • You are a champion of teamwork. A practical and productive collaborator who can drive cross-functional initiatives and engage others.
  • You are a proven builder. You have successfully scaled SaaS products and are ready to be an integral part of our growth strategy.
  • You are curious by nature. You believe there is an answer to every question and solving problems.

…then this is the job for you

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process to enhance user experience based on Member research and feedback.
  • Integrate feedback and market research into product development to ensure the product meets and exceeds Member expectations.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support Member success initiatives.
  • Drive innovation by encouraging creative solutions to user needs and industry challenges.
  • Collaborate with engineering and UX teams to make informed tech trade-offs.
  • Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and Member success teams to ensure a seamless workflow and cohesive team environment.
  • Lead by example and influence without authority, managing stakeholder expectations and resolving conflicts with empathy and effectiveness.

Requirements

For success in this role, you'll need:

  • 7+ years of product management experience in a tech or SaaS environment
  • Demonstrated success in owning and executing product strategies and roadmaps
  • High adaptability and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and work effectively with varied stakeholders.
  • Experience in agile development methodologies.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience or exposure to the residential real estate sector
  • Working knowledge of product-led growth (PLG), design-led product growth, or leveraging modern AI techniques

Benefits

The Whole Package:

  • Location: Richmond, VA (Monday - Thursday: in-office, Friday: optional remote day)
  • Competitive compensation package with performance bonus
  • Health Insurance on your first day with employee premiums covered 100%
  • Vision & Dental Insurance Available
  • 401(k) with 100% company match up to 3% of salary and bonus (immediate vesting)
  • Take it when you need vacation policy from Day 1
  • One day of paid time off for your mental health per month
  • Complimentary lunch
