Job DescriptionJob Description

Join our team The successful Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for the full billing and collections cycle within our company. Using a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills, you will make sure our invoicing complies with our various customer’s requirements and follow-up with them to ensure timely payment are received as to minimize our DSO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3+ experience with accounts receivable and collections in a B2B environment and experience with customer portals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Handle our full billing and collections cycle.
  • Create in- and send invoices from our ERP system (Microsoft Navision)
  • Keep track of specific requirements needed for use of various portals we are asked to use (Ariba, Coupa, Taulia etc.)
  • Investigates and contact customers regarding overdue invoices to determine reason for non-payment and obtain expected payment date.
  • Attend weekly status meetings with management and effectively communicate client activity
  • Take ownership of the ar@ mailbox and respond to any customer inquiry
  • Assist with accounts payable and invoice processing
  • Log customer receivables interaction/comments into accounting system and excersise perfect record keeping

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • A bachalor in accounting is preferred, but not a must A strong work ethic however, along with passion for your job, will be
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant accounting / AR / collections experience however is required, and this within a B2B environment (preferably dealing with large customers)
  • Strong communication skills, great attention to detail and organization as well as an acute sense of urgency
  • Experience with using an ERP system, as well as portals such as (Ariba, Coupa, Tradeshift, Textura etc.) will be needed.
