The Global Supply Chain division at 00100 LEIDOS, INC. presents an excellent opportunity for a Material Cost Analyst to become part of our dynamic team. We support a flexible work arrangement that accommodates both remote and in-office work, tailored to project demands and individual preferences.

This position entails collecting client specifications, managing the RFx process, facilitating negotiations, and calculating material expenses to secure new opportunities for 00100 LEIDOS, INC. The successful candidate will take charge of proposals, engage in effective communication across various organizational levels, and collaborate with multiple functional teams.

Additional duties may encompass Supplier Oversight, Business Process Optimization, and Procurement Tool implementations. Some travel may be necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for precise material pricing on proposal initiatives
  • Lead the request for quotation process while ensuring adherence to regulations
  • Achieve cost savings and avoidance objectives through effective negotiation
  • Examine extensive data sets to price Bills of Materials
  • Collaborate within a matrixed organization supporting diverse functions

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 2-4 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Capability to function within a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • US Citizenship required
  • Fundamental understanding of procurement and technology acquisitions
  • Time management skills and capacity to perform under pressure

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement or subcontracting
  • Knowledge of material acquisitions
  • Security clearance preferred
  • Prior experience with Deltek CostPoint
  • Interest in data analytics and IT project management
