Senior Acquisitions Associate

Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our Real Estate Private Equity Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and risk assessment for potential real estate acquisitions. This role offers the opportunity to work on all aspects of real estate investing across various asset classes.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and execute real estate investments across several asset classes, including healthcare, multifamily, and office.
Develop detailed financial models to forecast cash flows, investment returns, and other key financial metrics for potential acquisitions.
Perform market research and valuation analyses of prospective investment opportunities in each of the different real estate asset classes.
Conduct extensive due diligence on each transaction, including traveling to properties, meeting with management, coordinating with various advisors, and formulating investment strategies and business plans.
Participate in the execution of transactions, including negotiations of contracts and agreements with sellers and financing banks.
Prepare written analyses and evaluations of investment opportunities for decision-makers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
At least 4-6 years of finance experience, ideally in real estate investment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong project management, financial, and analytical skills.
Strong understanding of real estate finance principles, including financial analysis, valuation techniques, and investment metrics.
Proficiency in financial modeling. A certification from a top program (e.g., A.CRE) is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
